Winter Activities at Lake Tahoe

For the cross country enthusiast you will find Tahoe City XC/Lakeview Ski Area, Tahoe Donner Ski Area, Royal Gorge Ski Area, Sugar Pine Point State Park, and Donner Memorial State Park to name just a few of the area's exceptional cross-country ski areas, which are groomed for touring as well as skating. In addition, there are many beautiful areas on the North and West Shores for backcountry skiing, sledding and snowmobiling, not to mention two ice skating rinks located in nearby Squaw Valley and Northstar.
