Like many ski resort areas in the west, Lake Tahoe has a rich history going back to the mining era of the late 1800’s. Prior to that, Lake Tahoe was the summer home for the Washoe Native American tribe. On the North Shore of Lake Tahoe you’ll find the charming towns of Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista, Kings Beach, and Incline Village.  The majority of Hauserman Rental Group’s Tahoe vacation rental properties are located in North Lake Tahoe and also on the West shore of Tahoe. Most of the ski resorts around Tahoe are concentrated around the North Shore including Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak, Homewood Resort, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Squaw Valley USA, and Sugar Bowl. The South Shore of Lake Tahoe boasts the towns of South Lake Tahoe, Stateline, and Zephyr Cove.Dock with Boat
