Living in the Tahoe Basin is amazing- we all know this.  Visiting Tahoe is no less incredible- especially when you wake up to views like this! 

I am so fortunate to have friends who work at the ski resorts and must be at work by 7AM to open lift chairs, and think of me when they see the sun rising from the Sherwood Chair at the backside of Alpine Meadows in Ward Canyon on the West Shore.  Here is an exceptional view of Lake Tahoe blanketed in fog at dawn, with sparkling white snow.  Imagine staying at Leveen in Ward Valley, where you have a glimpse of this, plus Twin Peaks and Blackwood...wow!
