Nothing says Fall like Tahoe City’s Scarecrows on Parade. Well, except for wandering around Tahoe City taking pictures of said scarecrows in the middle of the first snowstorm of the season. There is something extra festive about our town scarecrows when they are topped with a dusting of snow.
Tahoe City’s annual event is organized by the Tahoe City Downtown Association and the scarecrows, which are all unique and fun, are created by businesses, school classes and anyone else interested in creating one. They are put up all over downtown Tahoe City through the month of October, so get out there and take a look.
