Our Response To COVID-19

The health and safety of our guests, owners, and employees is our highest priority at Hauserman Rental Group.  We are closely monitoring updates from Placer CountyCalifornia Department of Public Health,  Centers For Disease Control and World Health Organization regarding COVID-19 and doing the best we can to maintain our operations in ways that responsibly take into consideration the needs of our staff, guests, and community.


  • Both parties are entering into this Agreement with knowledge and understanding of the current events associated with COVID-19 and the pandemic.
  • The Cancellation Policy agreed to at the time of booking will prevail regardless of COVID-19’s impact. A myriad of travel insurance options is available to protect one’s investment.
  • With regards to States of Emergency and so-called “shelter-in-place” or “stay-at-home” orders, HRG (i) will not violate any Stay Home Orders, notwithstanding any Party’s instructions and (ii) will obey all Fair Housing laws while pursuing safe COVID-19 practices. HRG cannot and will not determine the legal sufficiency or the good faith use of the stated reasons or purposes for either party choosing to enter into this Agreement.
  • Some modifications, amendments, interruptions, delays, or disruptions from service providers, including services provided by HRG can be expected.
  • Public, private, or HOA amenities may be limited, or may not be available at all. No refunds or adjustments in the terms of this Agreement will be made based on changes to public or private amenities.

COVID-19 Cleaning Protocol

Every year, all of our homes go through a spring (deep) cleaning to get ready for the busy summer season. Now more than ever, with COVID-19, cleanliness matters.  We have added additional cleaning protocols to help keep you safe and healthy.

  • We are monitoring the Placer CountyCalifornia Department of Public Health,  CDC and World Health Organization websites and will adjust our procedures if necessary based on their recommendations
  • To keep our cleaners safe, they will not enter any home until 3 hours after check out. They will wear masks and gloves while in the home.
  • Windows will be opened while cleaning to allow fresh air to circulate
  • All surfaces cleaned and disinfected: light (wall) switches, lamp switches, counter tops, windowsills, railings, knobs, door handles, TV remote, thermostat, nightstands, headboards, dressers, trash cans, sinks, faucets, medicine cabinets, refrigerator, microwave, oven, lock box, bear box, BBQ, outside table and chairs to name a few
    All flooring cleaned and disinfected
  • All bedding will be removed carefully and replaced with fresh bedding
  • Treat mattress pad, bed skirt and pillows with disinfecting spray
  • Use a UV light on all soft surfaces: blankets and bedspreads, pillows, and any cloth chairs
  • All towels replaced with fresh towels
  • Use a UV light on all furniture, throw blankets, throw pillows
  • Kitchen sponges tossed and replaced with new
  • Disinfect salt and pepper, all other items in the kitchen and under the sink that can be touched by guests
