Spring in Tahoe

Looking for an art fix? Find it just down the street from The Cobblestone at the North Tahoe Arts Center. The center provides year round exhibit space for a variety of incredible artists in the Artisans Shop, as well as
revolving exhibits in the two main gallery spaces.

From now until May 27th the annual Members Show is occupying the gallery. Here you will find some of the best work of over 20 members of the North Tahoe Arts association. The exhibits are competing in the People’s Choice Awards. You, as a certified people, can check out the exhibit and vote for your favorites. Your opinion will not only be heard, but you will also be given a chance to win prizes. There are a wide range of artists and styles on display and you are certain to find something you find interesting.

While at the center, be sure to check out the eclectic work available for sale in the Artisans Shop. You will find paintings, crafts, cards, and clothing accessories. Looking for an incredible Tahoe painting or photo to take home? This just might be the spot to find it.

The North Tahoe Arts Center is located at 380 North Lake Blvd. just above the Commons Beach, and next door to the large gray building formerly known as the Tahoe City Fire House. In addition to providing a space for the creative works of artists, North Tahoe Arts is a non-profit organization with a mission to support the arts in the area. They conduct an extensive art tour program in July, provide programs to introduce children to art, and in a variety of other ways help make North Tahoe a more artful place.
