Vacation Rental Damage Protection
The Damage Protection Fee covers unintentional damages to the Vacation Rental Unit that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to the rental agency (Hauserman Rental Group) prior to or upon check-out. The $29 policy will pay a maximum of $1500.00, and the $45 policy will pay a maximum of $3000.00. Any damages that exceed $1500/$3000 will be charged to the credit card on file, compliant with your signed credit card contract. Please note, additional cleaning is NOT covered by this policy. If you damage any real or personal property assigned to your rental accommodation during the trip, the Insurer will reimburse the lesser of the cost of repairs or replacement of the property, up to $1500.00 or $3000.00. Certain terms and conditions apply. The Damage Protection Plan can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in.
By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request HRG to pay any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Damage Protection Plan. If you choose NOT to participate in this plan, Hauserman Rental Group requires a $1500.00 or $3000.00 deposit (in the form of a CHECK) before check-in to cover any potential damages, to be refunded within 21 days of check-out, provided the Vacation Rental Unit is left tidy and undamaged.
