The Sites Of Emerald Bay!

Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe is rumored to be the most photographed spot in America. Bring your family to Tahoe for a weekend or a week, but be sure to swing through this historic landmark. You may sight see from afar with the road side scenic rest area. Make a day out of it with a fun two and a half mile hike down to the historic Vikingsholm Castle or do a loop along the Eagle Falls trail head. There are paddle boat tours from Tahoe City that cruise around the island, or even kayak tours from Meeks Bay that picnic on Fannette Island.

Hike the Eagle Falls Trail Head

Just above Emerald Bay is a short and moderate 1 mile hike that provides outdoor enthusiasts breathtaking views of the gorgeous landscapes. The parking fee is $5 and we highly recommend it as an early morning hike, the sunrise is perfect. Check out the Eagle Falls Trail Head.
