Molly’s Treehouse is a warm, welcoming retreat that’s ideal for two families or a group of friends—the kind of place that feels like home the moment you step inside.

Downstairs, the comfortable living room invites you to unwind with a plush leather couch and loveseat, a cozy gas fireplace, a game table, and a large HD TV—perfect after a day at the beach or on the slopes. Just off the well-equipped kitchen, the dining nook offers plenty of space for everyone to gather for meals, games, and conversation. You’ll also find laundry and a convenient half bath on this level.

Upstairs, four fun, themed bedrooms give everyone their own space to spread out:
Surf’s Up Room: A Queen bed plus a sofa, and it opens into a den with another sofa, TV, and an oversized bean bag chair—great for kids or a second hangout area.
Birdie Room: A golf-themed favorite with a Queen bed, Twin bunk beds, TV, and a walk-in closet.
Area 51 Room: Features bunk beds (Double on bottom / Twin on top), built-in desk space, and a crib.
Primary Suite (Bogie / Maltese Falcon Room): A spacious California King suite with its own sofa and TV, plus a large en-suite bathroom with dual sinks and a generous shower/tub combo.

The full hallway bathroom is shared by the Surf’s Up, Birdie, and Area 51 rooms.

Bringing your dog along? Molly’s Treehouse welcomes canine companions, making it a true home-away-from-home for the whole crew.

2-car garage available. Parking is limited to 4 spaces.

- Minimum age to rent: 25
- None of our properties have AC unless mentioned elsewhere
- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.

Couple of small things - the turntable on the microwave wasn't working so things burned, it was extremely difficult to open the sliding glass door. Mini blinds in front bedroom are breaking off. It was nice to have a Christmas tree up and decorated. Kitchenware was adequate, rooms were comfortable, kids enjoyed the "playroom" and hot tub, decor was appropriate and cozy.

We had such a fun, family weekend! The cabin was very nice! Lots of room, very well-maintained, and clean. Lots of nice amenities, family-friendly games, and close to lots of nice touristy locations. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants an escape to such a wonderful location.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has a wonderful deck where we spent most of our time. Also, having 2 refrigerators ended up being a necessity we didn't realize we needed. Both times I called management (not for complaints but for suggestions), they were VERY helpful and friendly.

Overall, we were very happy with the home. It looks and feels a little older and less updated than some, but pretty much everything worked fine. One thing that needs maintenance is the window to the left above the master bed has a crank to open it. The crank is coming off the wall, so you have to hold onto it to make it work. This will likely break soon. I think the crank on the left window next to the dining table also had a problem. Finally, it would be nice if there was a way to turn the pilot light of the fireplace off during warmer weather. Given there is no A/C (you should consider adding that, given global warming?) and given we had forest fire smoke problems, it was inconvenient that the fireplace was generating heat even when it was off. However, overall, the property performed well, was comfortable, was well-stocked, and served us very well for our stay. I would stay here again. Thanks!

Even though we were inundated with forest fire smoke for a day or two, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Molly's Treehouse. The kitchen is well equipped and large, the living room is comfy and roomy, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were all comfortable and functional. We would stay there again.
