Beautiful lakefront home on the West Shore just south of Tahoe City with 3 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Dog-friendly with beach, buoy (limited pier access), and large, grassy yard.

On the ground floor, there are 2 living areas, each with a wood-burning fireplace; a spacious, remodeled kitchen; a bedroom with 2 Twin beds and its own full bathroom; a full guest bathroom and laundry facilities in a utility room off of the kitchen.

Upper entry level features a master bedroom with lake view, a king bed, balcony and attached full bath; a lake view queen bedroom; full guest bathroom and separate half bathroom in hallway.

Only 1 mile from Tahoe City to the north, and 1 mile to Sunnyside Resort to the south. Make Cedar Hollow Lakefront your Lake Tahoe escape!

*Please note that the pier is shared with the house next door and is available for boat loading and unloading only. Also note that no dingy is provided to access buoy.

Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 - Upstairs Master, King Bed

Bedroom 3 - Main Level, 2 Twin Beds

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.).

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Our properties do not have air conditioning.

BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day)

CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE OFTEN REQUIRED IN WINTER. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR WINTER DISCLOSURE, PROVIDED WITH A RENTAL CONTRACT ONCE A RESERVATION IS MADE.

THE COUNTY OF PLACER IMPLEMENTED A NEW SHORT TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR GUESTS TO ABIDE BY. FINES RANGE FROM $1,500- 5,000 AND CAN BE ISSUED TO GUESTS WHO ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE. A FULL LIST OF RULES IS ATTACHED AS A PHOTO IN THIS LISTING. SOME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
•QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME.
•DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTSIDE OF A PROPERTY AND ALL PET WASTE NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP.
•PARKING IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING NUMBER OF SPACES: 5 - STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED YEAR-ROUND.

Our stay at Cedar Hollow was delightful. The views are amazing and the house is really nice: clean, all in prefect working state, very homy. It is truly dog-friendly, nothing dangerous nor difficult stairs for small doggies (we have a 5pound chihuahua, so that is always and important factor to us). Hauserman staff were also very friendly and helpful. We got the concierge service, also great! We keep on looking when the house is free again, so we can go back!

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying here in late August of 2024. If you are looking for the quintessential westside lake experience without all the associated crowd headache, you have found your place. The home is spectacular and the water access and pier are perfect. You are situated just up the road from Sunny/Shadyside if you want to drive over, and you are a fifteen minute walk from Tahoe City...on the pier you would never know it. Perfect for a romantic getaway weekend or the all-out family vacation. Can't wait to come back again.

Can't beat this location! The property is very nice. Dogs next door come over to visit often, they are friendly. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The view was as advertised and worth the price of rental. All the living spaces, downstairs and bedrooms were wonderful. I agree with a previous renter: the carpet should be removed from the bathrooms. It didn't smell and there were no stains, but bathrooms should be tiled/linoleum for sanitation reasons.

Property location was awesome. We enjoyed proximity to the water, Tahoe City, Hiking etc. The kitchen and main living areas were great for our family. We also enjoyed the yard and BBQ. The bathrooms need updating and we would recommend that the carpet in the bathrooms be removed. Overall, it is a nice property and we enjoyed out time.

The Cedar Hollow Lakefront House was the perfect location for our weekend trip in May. Just a few steps from the backyard take you to the private dock, an ideal spot for taking in the beautiful views. We also loved the grass area behind the house, another perfect place for relaxing, eating, and chatting. We took advantage of the updated kitchen and made most of our meals there, but we did venture out for a yummy dinner at Jason's Beachside Grill in Kings Beach.
While the house was large and clean, the bathrooms would benefit from some TLC. (The main bedroom's shower was missing a shower liner, and the water lever felt like it might come off in your hand. In another bathroom, the shower door doesn't quite close all the way.) While the updated kitchen is beautiful, we couldn't get the coffee maker to work, so we needed to venture out for our morning Cup of Joe. Also, it would be wonderful to have a cutting board available.
With that said, we were so very thankful to have the opportunity to stay at this gorgeous house. Even though it may not be quite as updated as other properties, the location, beauty, and privacy make it a property we'd highly recommend!

We loved everything about our stay at Cedar Hollow Lakefront! We felt so lucky to be at the lake and not worry about crowds during the pandemic -- we really didn't leave the property all week (except to get in the water). The remodeled downstairs of the house is so wonderful for everyone to be able to hang out together all day, and the kitchen is really well equipped. We are very grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful space with us!
