Bring your extended family and enjoy this roomy 6 bedroom home in Dollar Point. This home is an ideal place for a happy vacation! Featuring two living areas and two sides of the home, this house is well situated for two families that can each have their own space. Bring your dog so the whole family can enjoy the spacious fenced-in backyard!

After entering through the sizable two car garage or front door, you will find a living area, dining area and kitchen in the front part of the home. Off the breakfast nook in the kitchen is a king bedroom with a full bath and laundry in the hall.

Towards the back of the home there is a second living area and dining area combined with a working fireplace. Stairs lead up to the west wing bedrooms that features a full bath and two bedrooms; one with two bunk beds and another with a queen. The east upstairs wing has a separate stairwell at the front of the house. This area has a hallway bath and three bedrooms; one with two twins, another with a queen, and the master King bedroom and bath.

This home is close to skiing, downtown Tahoe City and there is nearby fun for everyone to enjoy.

Parking is limited to 4 spaces.

GOOD TO KNOW (important details)
- Minimum age to rent: 25
- None of our properties have AC unless mentioned elsewhere
- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.

Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are considered. Any approval requirements, limits, and fees will be confirmed in your rental agreement and pre-arrival info. The home also features a fenced backyard, making it easier for dog owners.

Can renters use Dollar Point HOA amenities (beach/pool)?
No. Renters are NOT allowed to use Dollar Point HOA Beach, Pool, or other amenities.

Is this home good for two families traveling together?
Yes. The home is set up with two living areas and essentially two sides/wings, which helps two families have their own space.

The lodge is a beautiful, well appointed home in Dollar Point. The house has a great fenced yard, large BBQ, and plenty of space for a big family. The home could use a few updates, like the glass slider to the deck and the master bath, but overall everyone agreed we’d rent it again.

This 6-bedroom home was perfect for our family gathering of 8 adults and 5 children. We especially loved the large, fenced backyard. The kitchen is a little tight, but workable for 2 cooks at one time. Dollar Point is a great location for accessing Tahoe's many summer activities.

I just wanted to follow up with the owners of Dollar Point Lodge. We had reservations to spend the weekend at your house and several family members were going to participate in the sprint triathlon at Sugar Pine Point. The poor air quality (and then the fire advancement) caused the triathlon to be canceled. You graciously let us cancel our house rental and airbnb gave us a refund of $3,200. I just wanted to let you know that we have donated those funds to the El Dorado Community Foundation's Caldor Fire Fund to help folks who have been impacted by the fire. I just thought you might enjoy knowing that your good deed has been paid forward. Have a great weekend!

First and foremost, we had a great time. I was very happy at how clean the house was and everything appeared to be in order. The weather, water, beach and overall environment was great. Typically, we stay in So. LT, but this time all was calmer, quieter and just what we needed.

It’s a nice neighborhood, the house has the Tahoe charm that I love. Very cozy inside, the only problem was the WiFi was very intermittent. Would stay there again!
