Alpine Welcome (formerly the Erving house) has a fantastic location on the West Shore, conveniently close to Tahoe City. Enter on the middle level of this 3 story country home to the nicely furnished living room with gas fireplace, stereo, and great back deck with refreshing woodsy views and gas grill (summer only). Dining table for 8, 4 kitchen counter stools, and nice tile and stone kitchen attached to living room. Full bath and 2 bedrooms also on mid level: one with 2 Twin beds, one with a Queen.

Upstairs, master bedroom with Queen sleigh bed and full bath, plus balcony. Downstairs den with gas fireplace, TV/DVD/VHS, leather couch and full futon, plus back door. Partially private sleeping area with double bed and bathroom. Parking for 4 cars. No smoking please.

Parking is limited to 4 spaces.

GOOD TO KNOW (important details)
- Minimum age to rent: 25
- None of our properties have AC unless mentioned elsewhere
- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.

I booked this cabin to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was absolutely perfect. We were all very pleasantly surprised at how spacious, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and cozy the cabin was. It’s also in a great location - close enough to everything we needed, but just far enough to not be too loud or crowded.
It was perfect, and I would absolutely love to stay there again. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

The house was perfect for our stay - beds were comfortable and well provisioned. Kitchen has a great store of pots and pans in addition to dishes. Location was great and check in and out were super easy!

Perfect location & size for my grown sons & family & me, with a bath on each of the 3 levels. Most important, it was dog friendly upon approval!! Being older, I liked my room on the entry level so I didn’t have to use the stairs a lot. The house was so comfortable, older but exceptionally clean, & had all the amenities we needed. We intended to eat out for some of our dinners, but we loved the evenings on the deck, & each day chose to eat dinner & enjoy the evening on the deck under the trees. A problem with TV connection was promptly corrected the morning after our check-in. The location, a quiet neighborhood in the trees, walking distance (1 mile) from town is the best! I look forward to returning to this property again.

We had rented a house from VRBO which was a total misrepresentation. I called another company as I was unable to stay in the place rented and they referred me to your group. What a magnificent experience. Dana saved our vacation! We were able to move that day. The house was clean. We had plenty of room and it was convenient to all activities. What a joy!
