The house was comfortable for the party of 8

The house was comfortable for the party of 8 and very centrally located with access to Tahoe City and activities throughout the area. Everything we needed was provided at the house. The upper floors were squeaky and especially the upper bathroom.

Very disappointing. This property is in need of a deep cleaning and updating. Dead spiders everywhere, cobwebs in the bedrooms, years of dust behind and under beds and other furniture, a family of birds nesting in the walls, dirty pans and baking sheets, a bubble in the main floor ceiling from bathroom above, stained carpets, the list goes on!

Perfect location made it easy to attend wedding events as well as do our own adventures. Emerald Bay, Eagle point and other hikes were a short drive away. Plenty of places to get food in walking distance (or super quick drive)

This house was nice for our big family. Five kids had plenty of room. And I didn't feel concerned about things getting broken. Quiet neighborhood. Felt safe. Nice walk to the lake.

This home was spacious

This home was spacious, great location, and had almost everything needed! The only thing missing was A/C :).With fans and the evening cool-down we did ok without it. The carpets could use a cleaning, there are stains. Bathrooms and bedrooms were just fine!

This is not a critique because I understand the difficulty of maintaining a rental property, but the house is a little tired. It appeared that prior renters may have allowed their dog to stain the carpet near the front door and the kitchen. The knobs on the bi-fold closet doors were broken and the single bed in the upstairs bedroom (on the left) had issues with the slates holding up the mattress.
