Great location for us! We enjoyed the night skies from the back deck each night. October was a nice time to visit because of no crowds and less traffic.

Great view of the lake! Cabin is pretty standard, nothing overly spectacular aside from the great view.

It would have been nice for them to notify us that the cabin was ready for check in as I had to call.

The main concern we had with our stay was the electric bear fence. Upon arrival, the bear fence had been turned off by the house cleaners and we were able to enter the property just fine, while also confirming the button was OFF on the unit. However, the next morning as we were leaving the house one of our toddlers accidentally touched the wires as they are hanging right next to the door and it zapped him. Thankfully he was okay, but it was very concerning as we had ensured everything was turned off upon arrival and did not turn the fence back on. Not sure if the rental company came by and turned it on without our knowledge or what, but huge safety concern especially if you’re traveling with young children.

Great deck and view of the lake. Really enjoyed evenings on the deck having dinner and drinks. Only complaint from our group would be that the two queen beds felt like they sloped to the middle. New mattresses would be nice.

The home was beautiful, the view of Lake Tahoe extraordinary. The kitchen and living areas were very, very nice. The bathrooms were nice. The bedrooms were small... the closets were full and there was minimal place to put your clothing, etc....that was the only negative. Otherwise, great house I would recommend.

The location of this cabin was great for our trip; close enough to all the things that we wanted to see and do while in Tahoe but away from busier South Lake Tahoe. It was a quiet neighborhood as well. The view was wonderful. There is some traffic noise from the street below but not enough to distract from the view. The kitchen was well appointed but could use some new pans and spatula. Cable was a bit tricky to figure out and service was spotty so if watching tv is important bringing your own streaming device might be handy. We had to be careful going up and down the stairs as they fairly steep. Overall great stay.

Location was great. Rental company had good communication. Property itself was just okay. Heating system was really not good. Even with the instructions that the rental company gave, the upper floor was super hot and lower floors quite chilly. The whole family had difficulty sleeping in these conditions.

Beautiful house!!! Very cozy. Came to town for a wedding, but will definitely
Return for a longer stay at some point.

New to all the bear fences, but figured it out quickly. Maybe an info sheet on the best way to get the TVs to access cable tv... had to watch college football on my phone. No big deal though.

Very solid house, good views and walkable to the pier. Only thing that would be nice is a 'starter amount' of coffee in addition to paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Wifi was out for one of our days but that's not the property's fault.

Our daughter was married at West Shore Cafe' and this home was a perfect location for our family. We were able to get an early check-in which was very helpful. My sons did not lock their car doors, and some bears got into their cars!! No damage was done, but Tahoe bears will/can open unlocked car doors so be aware! This home was lovely and made our wedding stay very memorable. Thank-you!!

The cleaning people need to be more concerned with the decks during the summer. Because the driveway is not paved there is a lot of dirt that migrates from the surrounding area to the deck. It should be hosed off well (and webs removed) often. The view was spectacular because it is west facing you can see the sunset not typical on the West Shore.

Stayed here June 2020 for four nights. We thought the house and view is even better than the photos. The deck presents an awesome place to hang out and enjoy the view of the lakes and boats. It was very clean and well appointed. The beds were extremely comfy. The road noise is there but it\\'s a fair trade off for being so close to the lake. We rode bikes from the rental to Sunnyside. The bathrooms are on the small side but it was just two of us. It was comfy, cozy, peaceful and quiet and definitely a repeater. The rental company peeps are very nice and easy to work with. We loved this rental!
