THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES 4 NIGHT STAYS DURING PRIME SUMMER MONTHS

This light and bright Lakefront unit is literally steps away from the private HOA beach! Panoramic views of the lake from almost every room. Relax on one of the decks or in the living room and watch as the sun rises and sets over the lake.

The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, 1/2 bath, sunken living room with wood-burning rock fireplace, HDTV and DVD, beachy furnishings and door to the outside where a short walk brings you to the pebble beach! There is a bar, dining room seats 6 comfortably, and large screen HDTV/DVD/with expanded cable and wireless internet access. Patio has a sling chair patio set, with a Weber gas BBQ grill (available in summer only).

The 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths are upstairs. The master suite has a captivating lake view, King size bed, vanity, full bath and private balcony! Second room has 2 single beds plus a nice window seat; 3rd room has trundle day bed.

A wonderful Tahoe rental opportunity located in Star Harbor which is a unique lakefront property with its own private lagoon, dock/pier, boat buoy or slip, tennis courts and swimming pool. Located less than one mile outside quaint Tahoe City, a short walk to town provides easy access to dining and shopping year-round. Paved bike path runs right across the front of the property and gives access to miles of wonderful bicycle riding!

Parking is limited to 2 spaces.

GOOD TO KNOW (important details)
- Minimum age to rent: 25
- None of our properties have AC unless mentioned elsewhere
- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.

The house is directly in front of the lake so the views were unbeatable. There’s two balconies, one on the lower floor and one from the master bedroom upstairs. From the bottom one you have direct access to the water so it is extremely convenient. The drive to tahoe city is very close.
The house itself is not big but it does not feel cramped and is very cozy with inidividual heating per room for easy separated temp control, which was a nice bonus! The kitchen is very well equipped and it might be the first airbnb I’ve ever stayed in that actually has sharp knives!
The host is very fast to respond and sends most information you need from the getgo. They also have a number to call when you need to reach them and an actual human will respond so it’s very convenient.
I would highly recommend to everyone I know who wishes to visit Tahoe!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The breathtaking view from the living room was incredible. House was cozy and super clean. Loved all of the board games for the kids and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. We loved staying here and would rent again in the future.

My wife and I rented this place for a quick birthday getaway. It was absolutely amazing. The entire home was spotless, and the amenities were plentiful. It was also in a great location, just a few minutes drive to a small shopping. I did have some trouble lighting the fireplace, but once lit it was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend. *BE ADVISED* I did come in contact with a bear which opened my car door and ate our pizza from Safeway. I was able to scare it away, but it definitely made me aware. Besides that terrifying event, it was great week and awesome stay.

Great location in Tahoe City. And, what a view! Such a comfortable & clean house with three bedrooms and two & half baths. Amble kitchen & storage for all our items. Nice selection of shows to watch on Cable. Only issue was lack of Hot Water for showers - something is not right - only enough hot water for one person then another in an hour or two. Someone needs to check that out & get it fixed.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! The views were stunning - right on the lake! The property was well maintained and very clean!! Great location in Tahoe City. Will definitely be back!

P.S. Only slight hiccup was that there was no hot water in the primary bedroom shower. Not sure why that one wasn't working because there was hot water in all other faucets in the condo. It didn't substantially affect our stay.

This was the 8th year we have rented Star Harbor #8.
Lovely location, views and experiences. It was
a treat to see the updated kitchen and appliances.
We enjoyed our 2 Kayaks and being right on the

We particularly appreciated Dana at Hauserman Rental Group who went above and beyond to make sure that our stay went well when we had something unexpected come up. This cozy, sunny unit could not be closer to the water and has a great layout, with lake views from the living room, dining room, master bedroom and kitchen. The heater and fireplace kept it warm when temperatures were well below zero. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed for meal prep. The location is minutes from grocery stores, restaurants. The covered parking space is a bonus in snowy/rainy weather.

We stayed at unit #8 for ten days. There is no way you can beat the views and proximity to the Lake. However, we had stayed there years ago...the general furniture, rugs, appliances are the same tired ones that were there years ago. The lighting in the unit is inadequate...the light over the main dining table is inadequate to read anything, and the lighting in the bathroom downstairs is almost nil; it is close to unusable when the door is closed. The fridge ice maker was slow/defective....and the position of the unit was such that every sound from noisy neighbors carried..phone was not operative, even for local calls......again, nothing can take away the location on the lake; but it would be nice if there were some signs that the owners spent something on the details.
