Stephens Retreat is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home, centrally located in a quiet neighborhood on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore. It’s a true Tahoe retreat, ideal for 2 small families or a group of up to 11.

Enter on the first floor the spacious, open and tastefully decorated kitchen, living and dining areas, half bathroom in the hall and King Master bedroom suite off of the kitchen.

The modern, fully updated kitchen is a cook’s dream with 5 burner gas stove, double ovens and all the equipment needed to prepare and serve meals. Farm-style dining table can seat up to 10, plus there’s casual dining in the kitchen with 4 bar stools at the counter.

Snuggle in the living room by the gas fireplace and enjoy a movie on the large flat screen TV or curl up with a good book in one of the window seat nooks.

Step out of the living room onto the sunny deck to grill up something tasty on the gas BBQ (available in summer only) or simply to appreciate the aroma and serenity of the surrounding pines.

Upstairs you’ll find three more bedrooms. On one side of the hall is a spacious second King Master Suite with flat screen TV and twin-vanity bathroom. On the other side there’s a Queen bedroom with large flat screen TV and another bedroom with Queen-on-bottom, Twin-on-top bunkbeds and a separate Twin bed. These two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill-style full bathroom.

From Stephens Retreat in the Agate Bay area, it’s so easy to get to beaches, hiking and biking trails, ski resorts, casinos, restaurants, shopping and virtually all the adventures Lake Tahoe offers. Wide neighborhood roads; a large, flat paved driveway; and a two car garage mean carefree access and ample parking year-round.

We loved this house. There were 4 adults and 1 child as the rest of the family couldn't come. The amount of room we had the 2 decks and BBQ were amazing. Kitchen was a good size and supplied everything we needed; plus extra refrig in the garage. House was spotless and well maintained. We all agreed we all can't wait to go back.

We had 4 couples and each had a queen or king which is hard to find in a vacation rental. Nice sized driveway to park, even with our boat, since no street parking, for short term rentals, is allowed. Well appointed kitchen and quiet neighborhood conveniently located to boat launch, restaurants and grocery stores. We’d definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful time on our Tahoe vacation. Rental house was great. Spotless and well equipped. local restaurants were delicious. Jakes on the lake an a few others. All were delicious. We stayed here with another family (11 people in total). House was great. Main floor has been remodeled and was beautiful. Had everything we needed. Our only issue was that the house was pretty hot at night. There were fans provided which was great. A few extra box fans that could actually go in the windows would be helpful. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Went up to Lake Tahoe for a few days with family after our daughter’s wedding. House was great—roomy and very clean. Only negative was lack of an outdoor dining table. Even had the bonus of seeing a bear walk around the back of the house and across the street!

Stephen's Retreat was perfect for our family. Love the open floor plan and the kitchen is a cook's dream with all the appliances and utensils you could ask for. This property is exquisite! The family room area and adjoining kitchen is expansive and great for evening relaxing. It is beautifully remodeled and outfitted perfectly with every detail thought of. The house was perfectly clean, everything functioning flawlessly. The only thing we had to do was reboot the router for the wifi. We loved our stay!

The property was very clean, well stocked and loved all the hand soap, towels, linens and little things like plastic wrap, zip locks, dish soap etc. it was wonderful to walk into a toasty warm home after unloading in 19 degree weather. The kitchen was outstanding! Beautiful double ovens, five burner stove and a bonus fridge in the garage! Made it easy to feed six adults in comfort. The dishes, glasses and silverware were awesome!

We loved the property! The house was beautiful. I loved it and look forward to staying there again the next time we head up to Tahoe. I only have a one suggestion.... it would have been so lovely to eat outside on the deck so having an outdoor table would be great.
