4th of July Celebrations
This year’s show commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 175th anniversary of the State of California. Celebrations will include a Family Fun Zone on July 3; fireworks on July 4; and live music, entertainment and activities throughout Tahoe City, West Shore and Alpine Meadows on July 3-5.

July 3
TAHOE CITY

KINGS BEACH
- Unofficial Official Kings Beach Day: A celebration throughout the town.
- Horseshoe String Band Concert: Performing at KB Mini Golf from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Matt Axton & Bad Moon Performance: Live at The Backyard (8428 Trout Ave) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

July 4
TAHOE CITY FIREWORKS

- Tahoe City Marina: Flexible Family Boat Rentals on Lake Tahoe
Tahoe City Marina offers flexible boat rentals in Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Unlike many Lake Tahoe marinas that require half-day or full-day reservations, we offer 2-hour minimum boat rentals so families can enjoy the lake without committing to an all-day schedule. - Sierra Surf Club 4th of July Party: Hosted at Sierra Surf Club from 12:00 PM onwards. This beachside venue features an all-day outdoor family celebration with food, drinks, a dunk tank, a bounce house, and live music – with special performing artist Pipe Down. Come by! Start at 12pm
The 78th Tahoe City Fireworks Show will be at 9:30 p.m. from a barge off Commons Beach. The fireworks will be visible from the shoreline in Tahoe City along the Lakeside trail, William B. Layton State Park, and Tahoe State Recreation Area. For those more adventurous, you can hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail above Tahoe City for a spectacular view.
July 5
Keep Tahoe Red, White, and Blue Clean-Up (July 5): Commences the morning after the holiday at Commons Beach. Volunteers gather to preserve the ecosystem and remove trash from the shoreline. Time: 8:00 am – 11:30 am
