North Tahoe Passport To Dining

The North Tahoe-Truckee area is packed with dining establishments dishing up delicious concoctions. But how do you decide where to go aside from hearing from friends or going to every single restaurant in town to find your new favorite? A great place to start is the 11th Annual Passport to Dining, at the North Tahoe Event Center on November 12 from 6-9 pm.

Passport to Dining includes over 35 different food and beverage businesses which will be handing out samples of their favorite dishes. You get an amazing variety of tastes, a chance to imbibe some delicious drinks, and a fun meet and great atmosphere. In other words, it’s a party.

A fundraiser for the North Tahoe Business Association, Passport to Dining also has a raffle and one of the most extensive silent auctions you will find anywhere. Ready to do some travel? A series of giveaway packages to Mendocino, Napa, Petaluma and Santa Cruz are available, as well as a number of other prizes available for bidding like lower box seats to the San Francisco Giants. And 2016 is an even year, so we know what the means for Giants fans.

Confirmed food and beverage participants include: Bonitata Boutique Wine, Boathouse at Captain Jon’s, Cafe Biltmore, Caliente!, CB’s Pizza and Grill, Char-Pit, Coffeebar Bakery, Common Cider Company, Deschutes Brewery, Hoppy Brewing Company, Jason’s Beachside Grille, Kings Cafe, Lanza’s Restaurant, Las Panchitas, Lone Buffalo Winery, Madrona Vineyards, Maki Ali, Men Wielding Fire, Moe’s Original BBQ, Mountain Roots, Nourish, Picnic, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Small Batch Sauce Co., Soupa, The Souper Wagon, Spindleshanks, Steamer’s Beachside Bar and Oven, Susie Scoops Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt, T.W. Pitchers’ Brewing Company, Tahoe Blue Vodka, Tahoe Moonshine, The Soule Domain, Vina Castellano Winery and Watermans Landing. Other food venues will be joining the list right up until show time.
